About

Hello, I’m Shirlene and I’ve been teaching piano and vocal singing for the past 20 years, with patience and dedication for all my students.

I’ve taught kids students as young as 3 years old, to adult students aged 78 years old.

Music to me, is something to be enjoyed for everyone, of all ages.

Throughout my teaching career, I have taught both children and adults who have given up on music and refilled their hearts with the passion for music. I aim to make all my lessons interesting and customise them to student’s needs.

Every student is unique and special to me.

I also have experience teaching children with special needs, eg. Austism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, etc. With my patience and determination, we have managed to achieve milestones.

For individuals who do not wish to take examinations, I am able to customise the lessons according to learning objectives.

Other than teaching, I’m also an accomplished performer, having been involved in gigs, performances, recording projects, with local and overseas pop singers. And also my church (including coaching church choirs for many years), music production, coaching of singers as well.
